Steve white Confirmed For LDS 2016
Renowned as one of the world’s greatest drummers, since turning professional at the age of 17, Steve White has remained at the pinnacle of his profession for over 30 years. Steve has played with many iconic British artists and bands, including Style Council, Paul Weller, The Who, Oasis, Ian Dury and Jon Lord, and currently plays drums in the highly acclaimed ‘Family Silver’.
Steve entered into a long-term relationship with Yamaha last year, describing Yamaha Drums as “beautifully made and a joy to play”. A groundbreaking and far-reaching plan has since reached out to existing and aspiring drummers, using Steve’s explosive performances to inspire players and his vast educational expertise to offer guidance to drum teachers. So far in 2016 this has resulted in a sold-out tour with Yamaha including eight Drum Clinics and six Advanced Teacher Seminars.
Steve will be appearing at 2pm in the Education Zone on Saturday at this year’s show in association with Zildjian.
