Yamaha Music Europe GmbH (UK) is immensely proud and delighted to announce its debut clinic tour with Steve White, renowned as one of the greatest and most influential British drummers of his generation. Steve White is visiting 8 leading UK drum dealer locations with Yamaha between 22nd May and 15th June.

This is a do-not miss opportunity for drummers of all ages and abilities and anyone interested in learning to play drums to experience an explosive and informative performance by one of the world’s greatest drummers and hear the phenomenal sound of Yamaha Drums, described by Steve White as “beautifully made and a joy to play”.

Since turning professional at the age of 17, Steve White has remained at the pinnacle of his profession for over 30 years, playing with legendary artists including Paul Weller, The Who, Jon Lord Ian Dury and La Roux, and currently plays drums in the highly acclaimed ‘Family Silver’.

Steve entered into a long-term relationship with Yamaha Drums last year, who together designed a groundbreaking and far-reaching plan to not only reach out to existing and aspiring drummers, but also offer the benefit of Steve’s educational expertise and guidance to drum teachers. In addition to the Clinic Tour dates, Yamaha and a selection of their Dealer Partners are also joining Steve to support six intensive and interactive days of Advanced Drum Teacher Seminars in Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, London and Bournemouth. For more info and to book a place, interested drum teachers should email gavin.thomas@music.yamaha.com. Closing date 13th May 2016.

Yamaha’s Drum Product Marketing Manager Gavin Thomas comments, “It has been fantastic working with Steve and to see at first hand his passion and drive for the UK drumming community. Without doubt these sessions will be great fun, informative and importantly should leave you inspired. We are very proud to be working with Steve White and of course our dedicated network of dealers who would love to see you at these events.”
