Drummer Jason Bowld session for Learn to Play Day 2015
Fancy a one-off drum taster session at PMT in Birmingham with metal and rock legend Jason Bowld. Jason will be holding a live drum session from 11:00am for beginner drummers, as well as offering free one-to-one lessons throughout the day. The event will be an ideal opportunity to get first-hand hints and tips from one of the biggest drummers in rock and metal. PMT will also be giving free lessons on all instruments, so whether you have always wanted to play or used to play, this is the day for you!
Jason’s session will cover the following:
How to hold the sticks
Sticking patterns and techniques
Common problems and how to overcome them
Technical exercises and performance pieces
Stylistic techniques, fills and grooves
Don’t worry if you can’t make it for Jason’s live session, he’ll also be giving one-to-one drum lessons from 9:00am-5:00pm in store. There will also be huge discounts across many of the participating stores on the day, so be sure to head down to your local store.
