Our East London drummer teacher is a Bachelor’s music performance graduate with over 8 years of experience specialised in drums and he has been giving drum lessons covering from the most fundamental basics to advanced concepts for over 4 years, hence the opportunity he had to be a drum teacher since before start of his degree.

He is experienced performing live, throughout the years he was involved in progressive, metal, rock and fusion bands which helped him to master basics of technique, styles, reading music, learning music fast. He also has extensive knowledge in music theory, music composition, music production, audio mixing skills that he offers additionally to teach.

All ages are welcome to study with him – he is DBS Checked. Aivaras will create a personalised practice planner that is full of new, unexplored and exciting content. Depending what you would like to learn or improve in certain areas. He is experienced in teaching topics such as various styles, covering: metal, rock, funk, hip-hop, jazz and technique topics such as hand and foot technique, double bass playing, independence, ergonomic approach towards set-up, posture, creative sticking patterns and countless other crucial areas.

With carefully picked and personalised practice planners as well as reachable goals, his students were able to see significant results in short periods of time. He sees teaching as a way to translate complex and overlooked topics in the most easily understandable and applicable ways so his students can feel confident, motivated and eager to learn with him.

His rates are:

• First 30 min lesson – FREE.
• For 30 min lessons – £25.
• For 60 min lessons – £30.

He is open to offer block lesson payments too. If students prefer, they have the option to pay for block of 5 lessons with a 10% discount or block of 10 lessons with a 20% discount.
