Chris Coleman Clinic Tour
US Meinl artist Chris Coleman will be hosting a series of drum clinics across Europe in October.
The tour kicks off in London on October 12th and will also take in Absolute Music in Bournemouth on October 14th, before heading to Europe.
Coleman goes to Liechtenstein for a clinic at Musik Foser in Schaan on October 16th, then there are are two stops in the Netherlands: Bax-Shop in Goes on October 17th and Busscher Drums in Klazienaveen on October 18th. Right after that, on October 19th, Coleman will be co-hosting the “Meinl Cymbal Night” at Onlinelessons.tv, the online drum lessons of German Meinl artist Florian Alexandru-Zorn.
From October 22nd to 25th, three clinics will be held in the Czech Republic. The exact dates and locations are yet to be confirmed, but they are scheduled for the cities of Prague, Brno and Ostrava. Coleman’s final show will be at Superdrumming 2013 in Gmunden. The Austrian drum festival was last held in 2008 with about 3,000 visitors from all over Europe.
A 1999 graduate with honors from the Drummer’s Collective, Coleman won the 2001 National Drum Competition after fighting off over 30,000 contestants. He is one of the most in-demand US session drummers, with his recent credits including Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Prince and New Kids On The Block.
