Jazz Drummer Required

Drum teachers we need to know if any of your students would be interested in joining a jazz band? We have been contacted by an established modern jazz band based in south Birmingham. Their drummer recently moved out of the area and they are looking for a replacement. As an amateur band, they meet regularly (every couple of weeks) and play about 5 or 6 gigs each year. The repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards (swing, bossa etc) with a few pieces from other genres.
