Tom Bennett Southport Drums Teacher
Tom Bennett is a Drums tutor based in Southport
A very passionate drummer for the past 8 years, Tom has ranged his music vocabulary from psychedelic rock (Pink floyd, Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience) all the way through to Metal (Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu)
Playing since high school, Tom started with a small electronic kit, which threw his confidence because of the “unreal feeling of the drums”, but once he bought his first acoustic set his passion only grew and grew to the point of air drumming the beat any time music is playing.
Although he has never taken it upon himself to take a test to fully grade his skills, he has played a few live shows with success, including the Liverpool O2 Academy. From a few small indie bands in Liverpool, to a chiptune based collaboration (8 bit Amplifried) in his town of Southport.
He is extremely easy to get along with in terms of music, thanks to his eclectic taste which only gets wider and wider everyday due to his passion for all music. He loves to hear others music passion to simply extend his own.
