Benjamin Spooner is a Drums tutor based in Hackney
Music is my passion in life and I want to share my passion with everyone willing to learn. I love meeting new people and cater my teaching for each student individually as I know that everyone is unique. My main influences are Seb Rochford, Luke Flowers and Travis Barker.
My approach to teaching is to give the student an understanding of their instrument through a variety of styles and genres from beginners to advanced ranging from rock / pop to jazz. I offer lessons in drum technique, rudimental studies and how to apply them into your playing, how to read drum notation by performing, syncopation and time manipulation.
I encourage every student to find their own sound and to be creative with their playing as I consider the drums to be as musical as a melodic instrument.
