My Drum Lessons are pleased to announce drum tutor Jonathan Smith has joined us.
Jonathan is based in Newcastle and can travel within Tyne and Wear and further to give home lessons. Jon has been playing drums since 1986. He has played all over the World, and has played drums and percussion on three well-received albums.
In 2003 he attained a distinction in the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice qualification, and as such is a professional trainer.
Jon became a tutor in 2008, and now teaches a very healthy roster of private students of various ages & levels, as well as several schools working as a peripatetic tutor.
He also provides drum tuition for his local school, whilst maintaining a busy profile, teaching in his private studio.
Jon plays Sonor acoustic drums, Murat Diril cymbals, and endorses Protection Racket cases, Aquarian drumheads & Bill Sanders practice pads.
