New UK Drum Show announced for September 2016
A brand new event for UK drummers and percussionists has been announced in the form of The Drum Show.Launched by Torn And Frayed (organiser of The Guitar Show), the event will be held on September 17th-18th at the MK Arena in Milton Keynes. With exhibiting brands including Tama, Zildjian, Natal, Schlagwerk, Aquarian, Vic Firth and UFIP already confirmed, The Drum Show is three events in one, with the exhibition area complemented by the National Drum Fair and the drumBEAT world record attempt also taking place over the weekend.
Running alongside The Drum Show, the National Drum Fair will allow visitors to get hands-on with rare and classic drums, find spares for restoration projects and more.

Meanwhile, organised in memory of Charlatans drummer Jon Brookes, Kate Fenney (co-founder of The Music Shipping Company) and Eleri McBay (wife of guitarguitar founder Kip McBay), drumBEAT aims to break the world record for the largest number of drummers playing the same pattern simultaneously by bringing together 1001 drummers (on full kits) at Stadium MK on Sunday September 18th. The record attempt is being held in support of the Brain Tumour Charity and is being organised by Natal Drums, Marshall Amplification and The Music Shipping Company.
Aquarian Accessories, Shaw Percussion, Rhythm Magazine, Cympad, Hearos, and several other manufacturers are also contributing to the event by providing hearing protection and other items free of charge to all who take part.
