Adele Drummer Derrick Wright Says “Hello” to DW

DW is proud to welcome multi-talented artist and drummer Derrick Wright to the DW family. As co-musical director and drummer on multi-Grammy Award-winner Adele’s current sold-out, “Adele Live 2016” tour, Wright can be seen playing a his stealthy, new Black Satin, DW Collector’s Series drumkit outfitted with 9000 Series hardware and pedals and the new Reverse Edge snare drum.

“It honestly is an honour to be playing DW drums and be part of this family. My new drums sound better than anything I’ve ever played. They look incredible too! Thank you to everyone at DW for your support, it is simply unrivalled”, commented Wright.

New York-based Wright is the son of the late gospel legend, Rev. Timothy Wright, and is an established gospel singer in his own right. He has also worked with seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Toni Braxton.
