I was under the impression that this legendary mirrored Premier kit had been sold in about 2009, when Neal said that he just wanted a quick private sale, and no discussion about putting it in some rock museum. He was also selling a mirror ball from the Billion Dollar Babies tour. Did the sale fall through? I messaged him via his email address at the time, which was similar to Facebook, I can’t recall the name right now, suggesting putting some photos of the kit online. Neal replied, saying something like “Uh, maybe I should. I hadn’t thought of that.”

I seem to remember that Neal’s site was on MySpace, and I saw it on the Worleygig site also. I’ve just checked the Worleygig site and found that the information about Neal’s mirrored Premier kit sale was dated as October 18th, 2007, but that can’t be correct, because I was in India for most of that year. I returned to work in China in September of that year, and left that particular position in June, 2009. Therefore, word of the active sale was seen sometime between these two dates. Curiouser and curiouser…

Furthermore, looking back at the Worleygig site, the price is set as “Best offer over $10,000.” That was something which I didn’t see at the time.
