Friday, September 18th, 2015

Author Mark Barry has just released a new update for his books for drummers and musicians in his ‘Sounds Good’ range. He tells us “I’ve just uploaded a 2015 update of an e-book I think you might ‘dig’ (if you’ll forgive the dreadful pun). It’s part of my SOUNDS GOOD Music Book Series and covers SOUL, FUNK and JAZZ FUSION. All the usual suspects are in there but loads more you may not have heard off and are worth checking out. Has over 1850 e-Page, is full of great choices and suggestions and all info from the discs themselves – no cut and paste crap (big Soul Fan).

Mark is Irish (from Dublin originally) and lives in London’s sunny Awesomestow (E17) with a long-suffering wife and our 3 cross-generational kids (23, 21, 17).

He says, “I’ve worked in Record Shops most of my life and was the Rarities Buyer/Expert at RECKLESS RECORDS in London’s Soho (Berwick Street) for over 20 years. I’ve contributed to many of the Record Collector Price Guides…and have written close to 2000 reviews over 8 years.”
