Top Drummer and Bassist From Level 42 Headlining The London Drum Show 2015.
One of the most respected drummers in the World will be on the headline slot on the Saturday of this year’s show! Pete Ray Biggin peaked the interest of global drumming brand Sabian after he won the Drummers Beat Alliance 93 – Under 16s national drumming competition, leading him to become their first UK endorsee at 13 years of age and has since earned himself a reputation as one of the UK’s hottest players.
Perhaps surprisingly, Pete’s inspiration comes from Level 42’s bassist, Mark King (as well as the big funk, fusion and session names) and now, rather fittingly, Pete resides in the drummer’s chair for the band, along with keeping time for British acid jazz band Incognito and his own group PB Underground.
Pete will be performing at 5pm on the main stage, Saturday 21 November, not only covering tracks from PB Underground but teaming up with Mark King to play through some of Level 42’s extensive back catalogue! Definitely not to be missed. Pete will be performing in association with Sabian and Tama.
