Yorkshire Music Services Looking For Drum Teachers In Leeds.

Monday, June 15th, 2015

YMES – Yorkshire Music Educational Services are seeking to appoint dynamic, highly skilled drum teachers at Chevin Music Centre from September 2015. They will be required for Wednesday evenings. 1 hour per week in the first instance, with potential to increase over time. They offer pay rates for Music Teacher Pay Scale (£14.68 – £25.89 per hour + holiday pay)

Chevin Music Centre is the oldest of the three YMES centres and will next year celebrate its 10th birthday. It has firmly established itself as a place where students of all ages can learn an instrument, play in an ensemble or participate in other musical activities.

Applications from multi-instrumentalists are particularly welcomed: please indicate all skills and interests on your application form. Working hours offered are dependent on the instrument taught and on student demand. This is likely to be 1 hour per week in the first instance, with potential to increase over time. Successful applicants will be passionate about inspiring students of all ages and backgrounds through excellent teaching and learning. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and those new to the profession.
