Drummers join Fender

Protection Racket Welcomes Drummer Matt Chamberlain

Protection Racket keep on attracting the best drummers in the business and they are proud to announce the signing of many new artists now using their award winning soft drum cases. One of the world’s most in-demand session drummers Matt Chamberlain has just joined the roster. He has appeared on over 200 albums with artists as diverse as Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel, Kanye West, David Bowie, Elton John and in 2014 toured with Soundgarden.

In the UK the legendary Kenney Jones, best known for replacing Keith Moon in The Who and founding member of The Faces, has joined the Protection family. Ben Thatcher drummer for one of the UK’s fastest rising bands ‘Royal Blood’ is using the gear. With a number one album, rave reviews after their summer festival performances and a support slot announced with the Foo Fighters in 2015 they are flying high right now.

Other UK drummers joining the roster include Dan Freese (Verses) currently supporting Deaf Havana, Rob Hall (Catfish & The Bottlemen) who’s album recently went top 10 and were awarded the First BBC Introducing Award, Freedy Sheed (Baxter Dury) and Joe Luckin (The Mouse Outfit).

New international endorsers include Independent drummers from the USA Jonathan Ulman and Greg Clark and from Iceland Kristinn Agnarsson (John Grant).
Protection Racket will be at the 2015 Winter NAMM show on the Fender Musical Instruments stand.
