Watch – Heavy metal drum solo over a church ballad! Hilarious.

Saturday, September 20th, 2014

Watch the most viewed new drum video here. This church drummer has become an internet star after he went crazy and unleashed a crashing heavy metal-style solo midway through a serene performance by his band.

Hilarious video sees the lead singer, also on keyboard, belting out a slow and emotional rendition of “Oceans.” But, as she goes into the chorus, she’s interrupted by the manic clattering of the percussion.

This church drummer has become a Web star after he unleashed a crashing heavy metal-style solo midway through a serene performance by his band. Struggling to make herself heard, the camera then pans out to reveal the bandanna-clad musician — sat beneath a church’s cross — bashing away on his trap set.

It’s unclear exactly when and where the video was filmed. But it was uploaded to YouTube under the title “How To Play ‘Oceans’ On The Drums” on Monday. It’s since been viewed more than 180,000 times.

something to her about some sort of health issue at your Odd Monday evneing with us, but whatever it was did not sound as serious as it obviously turned out to be.This quote from Rilke, excerpted for an Earth Day event, seems especially appropriate for Peter:Ninth Duino Elegy(excerpt for Earth Day)Praise the world to the angel: leave the unsayable aside.Your exalted feelings do not move him.In the universe, where he feels feelings, you are a beginner. Therefore show him what is ordinary, what has beenshaped from generation to generation, shaped by hand and eye.Tell him of things. He will stand still in astonishment, the way you stood by the rope maker in Romeor beside the potter on the Nile.Show him how happy a thing can be, how innocent and ours, how even a lament takes pure form, serves as a thing, dies as a thing, while the violin, blessing it, fades. And the things, even as they pass, understand that we praise them.Transient, they are trusting usto save them us, the most transient of all.As if they wanted in our invisible heartsto be transformedinto oh, endlessly into us.Earth, isn’t this what you want? To arise in us, invisible? Is it not your dream, to enter us so whollythere’s nothing left outside us to see? What, if not transformation,is your deepest purpose? Earth, my love,I want that too. Believe me,no more of your springtimes are neededto win me over even one floweris more than enough. Before I was namedI belonged to you. I seek no other lawbut yours, and know I can trustthe death you will bring.~ Rainer Maria Rilke ~Ramon: As the law of conservation of energy teaches us, nothing is ever lost, but just transformed. Still we yearn for the presence of the beloved as he/she manifested in our lives, although knowing all the time it was just a momentary shell enclosing the sun for an instant. We send much love to you,Ramon and Judy
