“The DrumChannel.com game from Rock Science celebrates the incredible music and performances of the greatest drummers of past and present – as well as the history and legacy of the world’s first musical instrument,” says DrumChannel.com founder, CEO/DW founder and chairman of the board, Don Lombardi.
The DrumChannel.com game from Rock Science is a board game for 2-6 players. The goal is to be the first to finish one lap around the board through the use of drum knowledge, clever betting and a bit of luck. Players answer questions about drummer anecdotes, myths, drummers past and present as well as legendary albums and songs. Questions cover players and performances of all genres including jazz, funk, rock, metal, country and beyond.
All questions have three levels of difficulty: Poser, Fan and Scientist. Poser questions are easier so anyone can join the game.
All players are always involved since they bet on each other’s rock knowledge.
With intuitive rules and fast gameplay it’s quick (60 minutes) and easy to learn.
The DrumChannel.com game from Rock Science is distributed by Alfred Music and is scheduled for release in early 2014.
“Rock Science takes fans’ passion for the music and musicians we all know and love and translates it into fun and exciting game play,” says Nuday Games/Rock Science CEO Jorge Bravo. “Together with DrumChannel.com and the drum community we will deliver the most authentic drum game ever, from the inception of the game, to the final product. Rock Science engages everyone who loves drums and music.
