Drummer Goes For World Record For Disaster Relief
Two-time Guinness World Record holder Russ Prager hopes to break a drum marathon record while drumming for disaster relief. He’ll have to keep up the beat at the Quaker Steak and Lube until nearly 3 a.m. Tuesday to be a success.
According to Guinness rules, he can drum continuously for an hour and then get a five minute break, and he can bank them together, allowing him to take some power naps in between drum sessions.
The 60-year-old drummed 25 hours straight to kick off his marathon attempt.
Prager has teamed up with the American Red Cross to raise money for disaster relief as he drums away throughout the night.
