Together with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Wilkins, Blue Man Group will present a special blend of music, comedy, and theatrics during this special two-night stand .

Mackenroth has a long history of partnering with artists who dare to push the envelope, irrespective of what genre they may fall into. He was a founding member of Los Angeles-based power trio Mother Superior, which became punk icon Henry Rollins’ backing band in 1998. He has also toured with Daniel Lanois and MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer and recorded with such artists as George Clinton, The Lovemakers and Robert Bradley.
After seven albums and four world tours with Rollins Band, Jason ventured out on his own, releasing Mack’s self-titled debut album in 2005. The group’s second album, 2011’s Pay To Play, was hailed by the Las Vegas Review-Journal as “a modern-day update of the harder edges of Kiss’ ’70s catalog: songs of sex, sin and redemption powered by shout-along hooks, octopus-armed drumming and lots of fist-in-the-air guitar soloing. It’s a visceral, overheated, organic-sounding recording.”
