MIRC 2013: Sennheiser bringing top drumming talent
With MIRC only a day away, Sennheiser has announced that UK drumming phenom Tom Meadows will be on hand at the firm’s booth.
Tom is a London-based session drummer who has worked with a host of leading musicians. Starting off in the Acid Jazz scene, Tom has been in rock/metal bands such as Apes, Pigs and Spacemen and has recently moved into the more mainstream pop arena, playing for Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Duffy and Kylie Minogue on her Aphrodite Les Follies world tour.
Tom will be available to speak in the Sennheiser room where he will be providing informal advice on all aspects of drumming throughout the afternoon. He will also host specific workshops on how to best set-up microphones on your drum kit at 1:30pm, 3pm and 4:30pm, giving dealers a good piece of advice for upselling drum purchases.
MIRC takes place on Wednesday June 26th at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire. The day is free for retailers to attend and includes the conference session in the morning, and the expo in the afternoon featuring the market’s biggest manufacturers and distributors, which opens after the free lunch.
