Best Rhythm Section Of All Time

Music Radar have announced the result of a public vote on the bext rhythm sections of all time. Coming in top were Neil Peart and Geddy Lee of Rush.

They say, “Rock’s foremost power trio have been locking in perfectly for 40 years, so it’s no surprise you voted Messrs Peart and Lee the Number One rhythm section in huge numbers – almost 50% of the overall vote.With every new Rush album, Lee and Peart again push the envelope of what a power trio – in which the rhythm section often shines brightest – can accomplish in rock. Coming in secondwere the power behind Led Zeppelin with John Bonham and John Paul Jones. Stewart Copeland and Sting of the Police were third, and the funk rock stalwarts Chad Smith and Flea of teh Red Hot Chilli Peppers were fourth. In fifth place was The Loon Keith Moon and John  Entwistle from The Who.
